  3. Hello Megan,
I discovered you using Facebook and I’m here to learn english! It’s great to know other people from other part of the world and read about your life, interestings, etc.
Well, I live near Barcelona in Spain.
The title of your page in FB inspired me to follow your blog.
I’m interested in writing and create a blog or web.
Thanks very much for your writings!

  4. Hey Megan! I always knew you had a blog, but I never really checked it out until I decided to get serious about doing a writerly blog again myself. (I was on Livejournal years ago, and after I did some research I realized it seems like more authors are on WordPress.) So besides the fact that you’re probably the only other person I know on WordPress, it has been good to see you at so many random events lately, and I enjoy reading about your experiences blogging and just livin’ the life!

  5. Wow, great posts. I’m really impressed. You’re very honest and show impressive emotional intelligence when you write. It’s refreshing and rare. Best of luck to you in Wisconsin!

  6. Your blog has been selected by me for the Dragon’s Loyalty Award. Even if you prefer not to accept this award, please accept this as a compliment and an indication of appreciation for your creative work. The philosophy of the award is: “The Dragon’s Loyalty Award is an award for the loyal fan/commenter, whether the recipient is a fellow blogger or just someone who follows and comments regularly.” Congratulations!

  7. I found myself on your blog because you followed me on Twitter, @KyBrage, and you posted saying to sign your guestbook! I hail from a suburb of Minneapolis and I have a blog/tumblr. It’s nothing fancy and it doesn’t have to be. It just reflects my interests. It’s http://doinmoves.tumblr.com/

      • Thanks for the bookmark! It’s not much but I’m pretty happy/content with it. I can’t wait until summer. I will not complain when the humidity makes it 100+ one bit!

  8. Hey Megan,
I found you among other ‘likers’ somewhere. I saw your bucket list and I know I have to leave a comment somewhere! So here I am, impressed by the number of ‘strike offs’ in your bucket list! I have a bucket list collection ( sound strange?? 😉 ) If you wish you can share you list in there too. Now I am gonna check out the rest of your blog. Happy blogging 🙂

  9. Hi Megan, it’s Memee. I saw that you began following my blog and strolled over to take a looksy at A Day of Almosts… the title captured my attention and made me want to know more. Great title choice! The article itself, I very much enjoyed reading. The first section when you talked about the train and the lights… I wasn’t sure if this was a fictional or non-fictional posting, and I had to keep reading to see where you were heading…. Your title may have captured my attention but your story was holding it. Really enjoyed the whole thing, glad you found what you were missing and now you may consider me a follower of your blog. Nicely done!

  10. Words can inspire the world… For sure, judging by the impact some of them had along with history. And I’m never the last to spread hopefully some good ones, this by the time being along with music. Thank you for joinin’ 😉

  11. I really like your About page with everything justified at the right margin. Don’t see that a lot. Looks really fresh. And I love your header. Words can inspire the world AND make or break a person’s spirit. Nice job!

  12. Hi Nice to meet- thanks for visiting and following my blog-
You’ve got some great ideas here and a nice layout (love the stones/backsplash!).
Cheers and good luck with the next bucket items, I’m sure you will accomplish many of them!
    Mary

  13. Your blog has me inspired on many levels. First, it has inspired me to not only create my own bucket list, but to then actually put forth the effort to complete the items that I have listed. I feel that I owe it to myself to delve into what it is that I would love to experience in my life before I reach the end of it. And secondly, I am inspired by the awards you have been nominated for. I have always had a passion for writing. I started my own blog so as to be able to express myself through my words and hopefully inspire others through my own experiences. To be able to adequately convey just the right amount of life experience mixed with a little bit of humor and some lessons learned, and reach others would be an awesome experience and privilege. To be recognized and honored in such a way as you have is inspiring for those of us just starting out. It never hurts to reach for the sky!

    • This is so sweet! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by! Please feel free to “steal” my idea from the bucket list! Writing it down and writing about it makes you more accountable. 🙂 I’ve been slacking on updating about what i’m crossing off – I have a few more things to write about yet. 🙂

      xoxo, Megs

  15. Fellow WP blogger…and I’m excited to see you here and hear more about you through your posts. We are all in that struggle (myself included..which you WILL read a lot about) of getting back what we once lost. I am excited to have a partner in this struggle and can’t wait to see/read/hear your outcomes!

    Welcome back!!
